Shipping Policy

Chloé Wright Fine Art Advisory
Effective Date: 04/01/2026

1. Shipping Responsibility

Shipping is typically coordinated by the selling gallery, dealer, or a specialized fine art shipping company. In some cases, we may assist in arranging logistics on behalf of the client.

Shipping costs, insurance, and handling fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

2. Processing & Delivery Times

Delivery timelines vary depending on the size, value, origin, and destination of the artwork. Typical considerations include:

  • Domestic shipments within the United States: approximately 1–4 weeks

  • International shipments: approximately 2–8+ weeks, depending on customs clearance and regulations

  • Custom crating or conservation preparation may extend processing times

Estimated timelines will be provided when available but are not guaranteed.

3. Insurance

We strongly recommend that all shipments are fully insured for their value. In most cases:

  • Insurance is arranged through the shipper or seller

  • Clients are responsible for confirming insurance coverage prior to shipment

Chloé Wright Fine Art Advisory is not liable for loss or damage during transit but will assist in facilitating claims when applicable.

4. White-Glove & Specialized Delivery

For high-value or large-scale works, white-glove delivery services may be arranged. These services can include:

  • In-home delivery and installation

  • Condition reporting upon arrival

  • Debris removal and packaging disposal

Additional fees apply for these services.

5. International Shipping & Customs

For international shipments:

  • Clients are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or import fees

  • Delays may occur due to customs processing

  • Compliance with cultural property and export regulations is required

We will assist in coordinating documentation where possible.

6. Inspection Upon Delivery

Clients are responsible for inspecting the artwork upon arrival. If any damage is observed:

  • Note the issue immediately with the carrier

  • Document with photographs

  • Notify us and the shipping provider within 48 hours

Failure to report damage promptly may affect insurance claims.

7. Lost or Delayed Shipments

While we work with reputable shipping partners, delays or losses may occur. We do not guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other factors beyond our control.
